MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HARING
OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
April 22, 1999

Chairman Greenwood opened the meeting at 7:04 p.m.
Item #2: PUBLIC HEARING concerning a preliminary Phase I PD site plan for the Fidelity
Investments project located at 2275 Precinct Line Road filed by HKS, Ine.The Public Hearing was
opened at 7:05 p.m. Mr. Wilson explained that the reason the Commission was looking at a
preliminary site plan was to allow Fidelity Investments to fast tract their project. The Town will
process the site plan approval in two phases. Mr. Wilson told the Commission that the consultant
team was recommending approval of the preliminary site plan. Don Allen of Carter & Burgess and
Tom Holt of HKS, Inc. presented the preliminary phase I site plan. Mr. Holt told the Commission
that the final approval of the site plan will be submitted by August 2, 1999. Mr. Allen then responded
to the consultant's comments. As no one wished to comment further, the Public Hearing was closed at
7:14 p.m.
Item #3: Motion by Commissioner Sarah Brown, seconded by Commissioner Redding to recommend
approval subject to the staff comments to the Board of Aldermen.
The motion carried unanimously.
Item #4: Motion by Commissioner Heath, seconded by Commissioner Sarah Brown, to adjourn.
The motion carried unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:16 p.m.
