OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
January 7,1999

Chairman Greenwood opened the meeting at 7:04 p.m.

Item 42: PUBLIC HEARING to consider an amended site plan to include a parking lot expansion at
Campus Circle, within Planned Development District -PD 1, filed by Maguire Partners. Richard
Kuhlman of Maguire Partners presented the amended site plan to the Commission. Dennis Wilson,
the Town planner and Rowland Jackson, the Town's landscape consultant, spoke concerning this
presentation. After a lengthy question and answer session the Public Hearing was closed at 8:19 p.m.
Item 93: Motion by Commissioner Buddy Brown, seconded by Commissioner Sarah Brown, to
approve the amended site plan as presented.
Commissioner Heath moved to amend the motion to approve the west parking lot and delay a vote on
the east lot while monitoring the occupancy rates. The amended motion died for lack of a second.

Item 94: Discussion of scheduling regular meeting times. The Commission chose to continue on an
as needed schedule until such time that business prompts a regular schedule. The next meeting will
be held on Monday, January 18, 1999, at 7:00 p.m.
Item #5: Motion by Commissioner Heath, seconded by Commissioner Sarah Brown, to adjourn.
The motion carried unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:43 p.m.
