Promote Community Health,Safety,and Welfare is a focus
point in the Strategic Plan.Within that focu point is the
Strategic Issue "Public Safety and Emergency
Preparedness"The strategy is to provide a safe community
for our residents and business partners.Building an
effective Emergency Warning Notification System will
enhance the Town's ability to ensure the safety of the
community.An Outdoor Warning System will provide
notification of approaching severe storms to the active
outdoor population such as school children, joggers, golfers,
workers,citizens engauaged in outdoor activities around
their homes, etc.
