My home is one of the five homes immediately adjacent and west of the land being proposed for rezoning. 1 will not be able to attend the January 5, 2015 Planning and Zoning meeting A will be at any meetings thereafter) and ask that you would address my concerns for me at the meeting. I met with the applicant, Paul Roston of Calais Custom Homes, to discuss their proposed development. Following were my concerns and his comments which I would ask P&Z to confirm: - 1)Lot Sizes: Mr. Roston said the minimum lot size would be 30,000 square feet; - 2)Home Size: Mr. Roston said homes would be a minimum of 4,000 square feet for sing!e story and a minimum of 5,000 square feet for two story homes; '3)Qua|hyof the homes to'be-bui|t: Mr. Roston said the homes would have the same construction guidelines/requirements as the Vaquero and Granada deveiopments; - AND VERY IMPORTANT TO ADJACENT HOMEOWNERS 4) Work with adjacent homeowners on screening: Mr Roston said his cornpany would put language in the Development Guidelines/Standards which would maintain any existing trees along the western side of their development (trees cannot be removed that are within the rear setbacks)-adjacent to Glenwyck Farrns AND ALSO there would be no construction allowed within the rear setbacks of the lots within this development.
