MINUTES OF THE
TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
BOARD OF ALDERMEN SPECIAL MEETING
November 15, 2007
PRESENT: Mayor_ Pro Tem Don Redding, and Aldermen Pete Steger.
(Texas Election Code §67.00.1 (a) states that.Jor the pwpose c?f canvassing the results of an
election, a quorum cif hro is sufficient).
ABSENT: Mayor Scott Bradley and Aldermen Larry Corson. April Gallagher, and Bob
Timmerman.
OTHERS PRESENT: Town Secretary Kim Sutter.
1. CALL TO ORDER.
Mayor Pro Tem Redding called the meeting to order at 6:11 p.m.
2. CONSIDER ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE CANVASSING RETURNS AND
DECLARING RESULTS OF BOND ELECTION; AND CONTAINING
PROVISIONS NECESSARY AND INCIDENTAL THERETO.
Mayor Pro Tem Redding introduced the item and asked for a motion.
MOTION: Alderman Steger made a motion to adopt Ordinance No. 584. canvassing the
returns and declaring the results of the bond election held on November 6.
2007. Mayor Pro Tem Redding seconded the motion. The motion carried by
a vote of 2-0.
3. ADJOURNMENT.
There being no further business, Mayor Pro Tem Redding adjourned the meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 6:12 p.m.
