Policy Needs
Combine into one policy
Students are matriculating through our system without acquiring the prerequites for the next
course. The expected timeframe to make up
coursework is too lenient.
Transfer Course Credits are currently in the Retention Policy. It needs to be removed and place in a
course catalog or student/parent handbook.
Replace TAKS verbiage with STAAR
Need a policy for K-12

Set strict guidelines for passing Math and ELA

Change “A student who fail three or more core
classes may not advance to the next grade
