Item #1: Mayor Bradley called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. by announcing a quorum of all Board members. Item #2: The Board convened into executive session at 7:10 p.m. as Mayor Bradley read the items to be discussed. The Board reconvened into open session at 8:30 p.m. Item 43: No action was needed coming out of executive session. Item #4: Citizens' Presentations: David Brown advised the assembly that Knight Ridder has purchased the Alliance Regional Newspapers which includes the Westlake First paper. In turn, the mayor, on behalf of the Board and the community, thanked Mr. Brown and his wife Nina for all the kind things they had done for the community and wished them well. Kelly Bradley told the Board that the Historical Board's next journal, The Pathfinder, would be delivered tomorrow. Mayor Bradley stated that the new journal would be distributed as the favor at the Texas Municipal League Quarterly Region 8 meeting we are hosting on Friday night. Item #5: Consider a Resolution appointing Board of Aldermen liaisons to appointed committees. There was a motion by Alderman Brown, seconded by Alderman Held, to table this item. There was no discussion and the motion carried unanimously. Item #6: Consent agenda. There was a motion by Alderman Sparrow, seconded by Alderman Frey, to approve the consent agenda, which included the following: A. Review and approve minutes of the regular meeting held on February 9, 2004, B. Review and approve any outstanding bills. There was no discussion and the motion carried unanimously. Item #7: There was a motion by Alderman Redding, seconded by Alderman Brown, to adjourn.
