MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF ALDERMEN
April 28, 2003
Present: Scott Bradley, Mayor,
Fred Held, Mayor Pro Tem
Buddy Brown, Member

Trent Petty, Town Manager

Ginger Crosswy, Town Secretary
Absent: No one.

Item #1:Mayor Bradley called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. by announcing a quorum, consisting of
Alderman Held, Alderman Brown, Alderman Frey, Alderman Redding and Alderman Sparrow.
Item #2: Citizens' Presentations: Randy Shiflet introduced himself as the Municipal Marketing Manager
with Trinity Waste Services.
Item #3: Consider a Resolution amending the authorized representatives for the Town's investment
?.counts. Mr. Petty explained this item to the Board. There was a motion by Alderman Sparrow, seconded
oy Alderman Redding, to adopt Resolution No. 03-24. There was no discussion and the motion carried
unanimously.
Item #4: Consider a Resolution authorizing the issuance of a series of certificates of obligation. Mr. Petty
told the Board that this item is not ready for action. There was a motion by Alderman Redding, seconded by
Alderman Held, to table Ordinance No. 437 until the May 12th meeting. There was no discussion and the
motion carried unanimously.
Item #5: Consent agenda. Motion by Alderman Held, seconded by Alderman Brown, to approve the consent
agenda, which included the following:
A. Review and approve minutes of the regular meeting held on April 14, 2003.
B. Review and approve any outstanding bills.
C. Consider Resolution No. 02-34-08 approving certain contracts relating to the Westlake Civic Campus.
There was no discussion and the motion carried unanimously.
Mayor Bradley read an invitation that the Town received to the Texas A&M University College of
Veterinary Medicine Commencement Exercises for Sarah L. Brown.
Is. Crosswy introduced her Mother and three sisters who were in attendance.
Item #6: There was a motion by Alderman Brown, seconded by Alderman Frey, to adjourn. There was no
discussion and the motion carried unanimously.
