MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
June 24, 2002
Present: Scott Bradley, Mayor

Item #1:Mayor Bradley called the meeting to order at 7:00p.m. by announcing a quorum, consisting of
Alderman Held, Alderman Frey, Alderman Redding and Alderman Sparrow.
Item #2: The Board convened into executive session at 7:02 p.m. as Mayor Bradley read the items to be
discussed. The Board recessed out of executive session at 7:40 p.m. and reconvened into open session at
7:47 p.m.
item #3: There was no action taken coming out of executive session.
item #4: Citizens Presentation. Kelly Bradley of 10 Paigebrooke Lane and Ruby Held of 4105 Aspen Lane,
both members of the Westlake Historical Preservation Board, announced that there will be a reception at the
Fidelity Campus on Thursday, July 11 to announce the completion of Pathways, the Town's first historical
journal. Copies of the journal were passed out to the individuals that did not already have one.
David Brown of 4050 Aspen Lane announced that Terry Bradshaw's father has had open-heart surgery, but
is doing well.
Item 45: Consider a resolution denying TXU Gas Distribution's request to change rates in the North Texas
Metroplex Distribution System and requiring prompt reimbursement of cities' rate case expenses. There was
a motion by Aldermen Sparrow, seconded by Aldermen Held, to adopt Resolution No. 02-29. There was no
discussion and the motion carried unanimously.
Item #6: Consent agenda. Motion by Alderman Redding, seconded by Alderman Frey, to approve the
consent agenda, which included the following:
A. Review and approve minutes of the regular meeting held on June 10, 2002.
There was no discussion and the motion carried unanimously.
Item #7: There was a motion by Alderman Held, seconded by Aldermen Sparrow, to adjourn. There was no
scussion and the motion carried unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:04 p.m.
