MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN,
July 29, 1999
Present: Scott Bradley, Mayor
Fred Held, Mayor Pro -Tem
Don Redding, Member
Abe Bush Jr., Member
Ginger Crosswy, Town Secretary
Absent: David Loeser, Member

Mayor Bradley called the Board of Aldermen meeting to order at 6:10 p.m. by announcing a
quorum consisting of Aldermen Held, Alderman Bush and Alderman Redding.
Item #2: Consider and take action on a revised interlocal agreement between the Town of Westlake
and the City of Southlake for temporary water and sewer service and wastewater treatment. After
much discussion there was a motion by Alderman Held, seconded by Alderman Redding, to approve
the revised interlocal agreement.
The motion carried 2 - for
1 - abstention - Alderman Bush
Item #3: Consider and take action to request admission to the Denton Creek Regional Wastewater
System as a contracting party. After much discussion there was a motion by Alderman Bush,
seconded by Alderman Held, to approve this action.
The motion carried unanimously.
At this time Mr. David McMahan told Mayor Bradley that he would be glad to deliver this request in
the form of a letter since he would be at the office of the Trinity River Authority the following day.
Mayor Bradley announced a recess at 6:40 p.m. to allow the request to be drafted. The meeting
reconvened at 7:05 p.m.
Item 94: Motion by Alderman Bush, seconded by Alderman Redding, to pay all outstanding bills.
The motion carried unanimously.
Item #5: The Board convened into Executive Session at 7:18 p.m. to discuss applications for the
position of Town Manager.
Item #6: The meeting reconvened into open session at 9:05 p.m.
Item 47: There was no action taken coming out of Executive Session.

Item #8: Motion by Alderman Redding, seconded by Alderman Bush, to adjourn the meeting.
The motion carried unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:06 p.m.
