MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
February 22, 1999

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Bradley at 6:35 p.m. when a quorum consisting of
Abe Bush, Jr., Jerry Dinsmore and David Loeser arrived. The Board recessed into executive session
at 6:37 p.m. as Mayor Bradley read each agenda item to be discussed. The executive session was
recessed at 7:32 p.m. Mayor Bradley reconvened the meeting into open session at 7:37 p.m.
Item #3: No action was needed on this item.
Item #4: Citizens Presentations: Bill Resch, Vice President of Hiilwood Development Company,
updated the Board on the sign and entrance designs they are working on. Alderman Bradshaw arrived
during the presentation.
Jennifer Fipps of 2155 Pearson Lane, voiced a complaint concerning the noise level at the kennel
next door to her residence. The Board asked Dennis Wilson, the Town Planner, to hire someone to
check the noise level at the kennel.
Don Redding announced that Doug Reed of Fidelity Investments will speak at the RTCW Chamber
luncheon on April 6, 1999.
Item 45: Motion by Alderman Loeser, seconded by Alderman Bradshaw, to approve minutes of the
regular meeting held on February 8, 1999 as presented.
The motion carried unanimously.

Alderman Bush asked if the Board could start advertising for a Town Administrator to be in the
position to hire a Town Manager soon after the election of May 1, 1999. The Town Attorney will
draw up a job description for this position.
The Board then recessed into Executive Session at 9:22 p.m.
The Board convened back into Open Session at 10:55 p.m.
Item #16: Motion by Alderman Bush, seconded by Alderman Bradshaw, to adjourn.
The motion carried unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:56 p.m.
