Present:Mayor Scott Bradley, Mayor Pro-tern Carroll Huntress, Aldermen: Howard Dudley,
Fred Held, AIOien, Town Attorney Paul Isham.
Absent:Jerry Moore
Item #1:Meeting called to order. PRESENTATION FROM CITIZENS: None to address the
Board.
Item #2: Motion by Al Oien, seconded by Howard Dudley to adopt Ordinance No. 232,
canvassing the election returns for the additional sales and use tax election held on
January 21, 1995.
Motion carried unanimously.
Item #3: Motion by Howard Dudley, seconded by Carroll Huntress, to adopt Ordinance,
creating a Higher Education Authority, appointing the initial board of directors
thereof and resolving related matters.
Motion carried - 3 for, 1 abstention.
Item #4:Motion by Carroll Huntress, seconded by Howard Dudley, to approve the ~solution
authorizing the formation of a corporation under the Higher Education Authority Act,
appointing the initial board of directors thereof, and resolving related matters.
Motion carried - 3 for, 1 abstention.
Item #5: The Board recessed into an executive session pursuant to Article 551.071
"Consultation with Attorney and pending or contemplated litigation" and Article
551.072, "Deliberation with regard to real estate."
Item #6:No other business to be discussed by the Board of Aldermen, the meeting was
adjourned at 8:30 p. m.
