The regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the Town of
Westlake, Texas was called to order by Mayor Scott Bradley at 7:05
p.m. on October 10, 1994. Those present included Aldermen Howard
Dudley, Jerry Moore, and Fred Held <d Mayor Pro Tem Carroll
Huntress. Also in attendance were Town Attorney Paul Isham, Town
Engineer Greg Edwards and Town Planner Dennis Wilson.
Mayor Bradley introduced and recognized former Mayor Dale White and
former Town Secretary Gerry White.
1. The minutes were approved unanimously.
2. There were no citizens presentations.
3. Item #3, Lone Star Gas rate request was explained by Town
Attorn,. maul Isham. The rate ordinance, Ordinance No. 226, was
moved for approval by Howard Dudley, seconded by Jerry Moore and
adopted unanimously.
4. Item #4, election regarding additional sales tax for
development was explained by Mayor Bradley and Town Attorney Isham.
Carroll Huntress moved that the election be called for January,
1995, it was seconded by Fred Held and passed unanimously. The
election ordinance is Ordinance No. 227 and Gerry White was
appointed Election Judge and Dale White was appointed Alternate
Election Judge.
5. Item #5, annexation of approximately 58 acres of Circle T Ranch
was postponed until the November, 1994 meeting.
6. Item #6, annexation of the remaining tracts in the Carpenter
Addition was passed unanimously as Ordinance No. 228. Carroll
Huntress moved adoption of the ordinance and it was seconded by
Jerry Moore.
7. Item #7, status report on the annexation of Stagecoach Hills
was tabled until the November, 1994 meeting.
8. Item #8, amending the Perimeter Street Fee ordinance was
explained by Town Attorney Isham. Jerry Moore moved for approval,
it was seconded by Carroll Huntress, and adopted unanimously. it
is Ordinance No. 229.
9. Greg Edwards, Town Engineer, made a presentation to the Board
on proposed drainage regulations for the Town.
10. Jerry Moore moved that the Town donate $1,000 to the Roanoke
Public Library, it was seconded by Carroll Huntress, and passed
unanimously.
11. There was no need for an Executive Session under Item #11.

12. Under Item #12, Jerry Moore requested that he be provided a
copy of the boundary agreement with Keller. Mayor Bradley said
that he would get the map and make it available at the next meeting
of the Board.
Greg Edwards passed out an article about wood shingles and
asked if the Board had any interest in passing an ordinance
prohibiting such shingles. There did not seem to be a desire on
the part of the Board to consider such an ordinance.
Abe Bush inquired about the status of the Westwood Addition
and Greg Edwards and Mayor Bradley informed the audience that the
Town had not heard back from the developer after stating to him the
Town's conditions for approval of the plat.
Bill Boone thanked the Board for annexing the remaining lots
in the Carpenter Addition.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p. m.
