Minutes of the regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the
Town of Westlake.
Present: Mayor Scott Bradley, Mayor Pro -tem Carroll Huntress,
Aldermen: Fred Held, Alvin Oien, City Attorney Paul
Isham, Greg Edwards, Engineer, J.Dennis Wilson, Planner.
Absent: Aldermen: Howard Dudley, Jerry Moore.
Item #l: Meeting called to order, Minutes of the previous meeting
approved as presented.
Item #2: No citizens to address the Board.
Item #3: Motion by Fred Held, seconded by Carroll Huntress to
adopt Ordinance #225, revising the rates of Lone Star
Gas in the Town of Westlake.
Motion carried unanimously.
Item #4: Carroll Huntress, Mayor Pro -tem, recommended the Ordinance
ordering an election to adopt additional sales and use
tax under the provision of Section 4B of the Development
Corporation Act be on the October 10th, 1994 agenda.
Item #5: Dennis Wilson/J.Dennis Wilson & Associates, Planning and
Urban Design, discussed the recommended changes to Articles
IV#WA-VII of the Westlake uniform Development Code.
Discussion concerning set -back .or fences. No action
taken.
Item #6: Motion by Al Oien, seconded by Car -roll Huntress to approve
Resolution#94--4, appointing Brad Bradley as t (t k.unicipa7.
Judae for the Town: of Westlake.
Motion carrie(iJunynimously.
Item #7: Executive Session Not needed.
Item #8: Mayor and i0 dermen discussed several topics: of concern of
the town: Sewer line, water,Mahotea Boone request for
annexation, Stagecoach Hills, Don Redding request to be
on the November agenda.
Item #9 Meeting adjourned at 8:35 P. M.
