MEETING OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
A Regular Meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the Town of
Westlake, Texas was held on the 5th day of October, 1992, at
7:00 p.m., at the Westlake Town Hall, 3 Village Circle, Suite
207, Solana, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The following
were present:
Dale L. White, Mayor
Alvin Oien, Mayor Pro Tem
Sherry Dudley, Alderman
Jerry Moore, Alderman
Howard Dudley, Alderman
Gerry White, Secretary
Paul Isham, Town Attorney
Jim Morris, Town Attorney
Bud Hauptmann, Town Engineer
Also present were: Scott Bradley, Chairman, Planning & Zoning,
B.J. Minyard & Randal Loftis, Planning & Zoning members. At-
tending and representing their respective firms were Mr. Tom
Allen, Mr. Ed Walts, Mr. Ken Pearson, Mr. Douglas Kusel, Mr.
William LePage, Mr. Rowland Jackson and Mr. Dennis Wilson. Also
attending were Mr. Carroll Huntress, Westlake citizen.
Mayor White called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read by the Secretary and
approved as read,
Item #1. Consider an Ordinance adopting the Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance. Mr. Douglas Kusel asked to speak, Mr. Kusel
voiced strong opposition to the proposed ordinance. There was
an exchange of imformation between the Mayor and .Mr. Kusel.
Mr. Dennis Wilson, Town Planner, also commented on Mr. Kusel's
presentation.
Alderman Jerry Moore moved to,adopt Ordinance #200, an Ordinance
adopting the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of 1992 for the
Town of Westlake, Texas. Motion was seconded by Alderman Howard
Dudley, voted on and carried unanimously. Ordinance #200 was
adopted.
Item #2. Executive Session: The Board convened in Executive
Session pursuant to Article 6252^17, Section 2(e) Vernon's
Annotated Texas to consult with its attorneys in regard to the
lawsuit filed by R. Carter Pate, Trustee, of the NBH Liquidating
Trust. at 7:34 p.m.
The Board reconvened in regular session at 7:48 and there being
no further business to come before the Board the meeting was
adjourned.
