TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
SPECIAL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the Town of West-
lake was held at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th day of August, 1992 at
the Westlake Town Hall, 3 Village Circle, Suite #207, Solana in
the Town of Westlake. The following were present:
Dale L. White, Mayor
Alvin Oien, Mayor Pro Tem
Sherry Dudley, Alderman
Howard Dudley, Alderman
Jerry Moore, Alderman
Paul C. Isham, Town Attorney
Gerry White, Town Secretary
Bud Hauptmann, Town Engineer
Scott Bradley, Chairman, Planning
B. J. Minyard, Planning & Zoning
Randy Loftis, Planning & Zoning
Also Present were, Mr. Doug Kusel, NBH
Pat Atkins, Tipton Engineering, Mr. Ron
Development, Mr. Carroll Huntress, Mrs.
Ed Walts, representing Maguire Thomas.
& Zoning
Liquidating Trust, Mr.
Richards, Woodbine
Kelly Bradley and Mr.
Mr. Walts arrived late.
Mayor White called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read by the Secretary and
approved as corrected.
Item #1. Reconsider an ordinance adopting a Comprehensive Plan
for the Town of Westlake. Alderman Alvin Oien moved to pass
and approve Ordinance #199, an Ordinance of the Town of West-
lake, Texas, adopting a Comprehensive Plan for the Town. Alder-
man Howard Dudley seconded the motion. Motion carried by unanimous
vote.
Item #2. Discussion concerning the proposed Unified Develop-
ment Code for Westlake. At this time the Mayor gave those
present an opportunity to speak. Mr. Doug Kusel, NBH Liquidating
Trust voiced strong opposition to passage of Ordinance #199.
Mr. Atkins also opposed passage of the Ordinance though he approved
of some parts. Mr. Ron Richards hopes the Board will consider
changes he wants and that they can work together. No action taken.
Item #3. Executive Session: The Board convened in EXecutive
Session at 7:58 p.m. to consult with its attorneys in regard to
the lawsuit filed by R. Carter Pate, Trustee of NBH Liquid-
ating Trust.
At 8:38 P.m. the Board reconvened in open session. There
being no further business to come before the Board the
meeting was adjourned.
