TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
A Regular Meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the Town of
Westlake, Texas was held of the 5th day of May, 1992 at 7:00 p.m.
at the Town Hall in the Town of Westlake. The following were
present:
Dale L. White, P4ayor
Alvin F. Oien, Mayor Pro Tem
Sherry Dudley, Alderman
Jerry Moore, Alderman
Gerry White, Secretary
Scott Bradley, Chairman, Planning & Zoning
Absent:
Howard Dudley, Alderman
Fred Held, Alderman
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Minutes of the March 9, 1992 meeting and the April 5, 1992 meet-
ing were read by the Secretary and approved as read.
Item #1. Canvass the returns of the election held on May -2,-1992.
Alderman Jerry Moore moved adoption of ORDINANCE # 199, an ordinance
canvassing results of the election. Motion seconded by Alderman
Sherry Dudley and approved by unanimous vote.
For Mayor --- Dale L. White 15 votes
For Alderman -- Sherry Dudley 15 Votes
For Alderman -- Howard Dudley 15 Votes
Item #2. The Secretary administered the Oath of Office to the
Mayor and the elected Aldermen.
Item #3. Consideration of a donation to the Roanoke Library. Motion
by Alderman Alvin Oien, seconded by Alderman Jerry Moore to pledge
$3000.00 to the Roanoke Library Fund as the Town of Westlake's
1993 donation. Pledge is to be paid in October 1992. Motion
voted on and carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting
was adjourned at 7:42 p.m.
