MEETING OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
A Special Meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the Town of
Westlake, Texas was held on the 18th day of November, 1991 at
the Westlake Town Hall. The following were present:
Dale L. White, Mayor
Alvin F. Oien, Mayor Pro Tem
Sherry Dudley, Alderman
Howard Dudley, Alderman
Jerry Moore, Alderman
Fred Held, Alderman
Paul C. Isham, Town Attorney
Bud Hauptmann, Town Engineer
Scott Bradley, Chairman, Planning & Zoning

The meeting was called to order by the .Mayor at 7:10 p.m.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read by the Secretary and
approved as read.
Item #1. Discussion of development plans concerning the Circle T
Ranch. Mayor White told the Board of Aldermen of his conversation
with Mr. Ross Perot Jr. Mr. Perot said that plans to develope
the Circle T had been cancelled.
Emergency Agenda Item #1. The Board of Aldermen convened in
executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Vernon's Anno-
tated Texas'Statutes, Sections 2(e) and (f) to discuss the
lawsuit filed by R. Carter Pate, Liquidating Trustee, against
the Town at 7:30 p.m.
The Board reconvened in regular session at 8:52 p.m.
Emergency Agenda Item #2. Consider any action appropiate in
regard to the lawsuit of R. Carter Pate vs. the Town of Westlake.
Motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Alvin Oien to hire Mr. E.Eldridge
Goins, Jr., Goins, Underkofler, Crawford & Langdon law firm, to
assist Paul Isham in representing the Town in the lawsuit filed
by R. Carter Pate against the Town. Motion seconded by Alderman
Howard Dudley and carried by unanimous vote.
The Board set December 9, 1991 as the date for a public hearing
to consider adoption of a Comprehensive Plan for the Town.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at
9:02 p.m.
