MEETING OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
A Regular Meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the Town of
Westlake, Texas was held on the 9th day of May, 1988, at
the Dudley, Ranch in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The
following were present:
Dale L. White, Mayor
Alvin F. Oien, Jr., Alderman
Howard Dudley, Alderman
Sherry Dudley, Alderman
Carroll Huntress, Alderman
Ralph Rampellini, Alderman
Gerry White, Secretary
Also present were Mr. W. Edward Walts and Mr. Tom Allen.
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read by the Secretary
and approved as read.
Item #1. Canvass returns of the election held on May 7, 1988.
The Secretary read the results of the election.

Item # 2. The Oath of Office was administered to the success-
ful candidates, Dale White, Howard Dudley and Sherry Dudley.
Item #3. Consideration of th IBM Phase 1 signage package.
Motion was made by Alderman Carroll Huntress, seconded by
Alderman Alvin Oien to grant IBM a variance to the Town's
sign Ordinance, Ordinance #159, to permit IBM to erect street
and designation signs in IBM's Phase 1 developemant in accordance
with the drawings and representations made by IBM/Maguire
Thomas officials at this meeting. Motion carried by unanimous
vote.
Item #4. No action taken on the Cable franchise at this time.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the
meeting was adjourned.
