TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
The Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas held a regular
meeting at 7:00 p.m., June 9, 1986 at the Dudley Ranch in the Town
of Westlake, Texas. The following were present:
Dale L. White, Mayor
Sherry A. Dudley, Mayor Pro Tem
Jerry N. Moore, Alderman
Howard Dudley, Alderman
Ralph Rampellini, Alderman
Gerry White, Secretary
Scott Bradley, Chairman, Planning and Zoning Commission
Ms. B. J. Minyard, Planning and Zoning Member
Absent: Alvin F. Oien, Alderman
Also in attendance representing IBM and their associates were the
following: Mr. Edward Walts (Attorney, Strasburger & Price); Mr.
Jim Smith (IBM); Mr. Rick Gilchrist (Maguire/Thomas); Mr. Norm Aspis
(Maguire/Thomas); Mr. Jack M. Nottingham (Harwood K. Smith Architects)
Mr. Jim Williams (Carter & Burgess Engineering); Mr. Douglas Findlay
(Peter Walker -Architects).
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read by the Secretary and
approved as read.

Item #2. Consideration of a Priliminary Plat from IBM. The Planning
and Zoning Commission had provided the Board of Aldermen with their
recommendation regarding the IBM Preliminary Plat. (A copy of the
recommendation is attached to these minutes and made a part hereof).
The Mayor, Mr. Bradley, IBM representatives and their associates and
the Council discussed each item listed in the Planning and Zoning
recommendation. Motion was made by Alderman Howard Dudley , seconded
by Alderman Jerry Moore to disapprove, as presented, the Preliminary
Plat of IBM so as to allow time for Mr. Bradley and Mr. Bunker Hunt to
negotiate the proposed alignment of Precinct Line Road. Motion carried
by unanimous vote.
There being no further business to come before the Council the meeting
was adjourned.
