The Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas held a regular meeting
on April 7, 1986 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dudley Ranch in the Ton'1 of Westlake,
Texas. The following were present:
Dale L. White, Mayor
Sherry A. Dudley, Alderman
Jerry N. Moore, Alderman
Alvin F. Oien, Alderman
Ralph Rampellini, Alderman
Gerry White, Secretary
Absent:
Howard Dudley, Alderman
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read by the Secretary and approved as
read.
Item #1. Canvass the returns of the election held on April 5, 1986. The
Secretary read the election results.
For Mayor: Dale L. White 26 votes
For Alderman: Sherry A. Dudley 26 votes
Howard Dudley 26 votes
Item #2. The Oath of Office was administered to Mayor White and to Alderman
Sherry Dudley. Alderman Howard Dudley was absent.
Item #3. Appoint a Mayor Pro Tem. Motion was made by Alderman Jerry Moore to
appoint Alderman Sherry Dudley Mayor Pro Tem. Alderman Ralph Rampellini seconded
the motion. Motion carried by a unanimous vote.
Item #4. Consideration of changing the zoning on a certain 44.759 acre tract
of land from torporary to permanent (P H/Planned Office Park -Hotel). Mayor
White read the reccnr endation received from the Planning and Zoning commission
to approve the temporary zoning to permanent P -H (Planned Office Park - Hotel)
Motion was made by Alderman Alvin Oien, seconded by Alderman Jerry Moore to
approve Ordinance,#150, an Ordinance amending the Conprehensive Zoning Ordinance #49,
as amended, to permanently zone that certain "Triangle Tract" to "PH -Planned Office
Park and Hotel". Motion carried by unanimous vote.
There being no further business to cane before the Council the meeting was
adjourned.
