TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake,
Texas was held at 7:00 p.m., December 3, 1984 at the Dudley Ranch
in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The following were present:
Dale L. White, Mayor
Jerry III;. Moore, Mayor Pro Tem
Sherry A. Dudley, Alderman
Kelly P. Bradley, Alderman
Howard Dudley, Alderman
Gerry White, Secretary
Scott Bradley, Chairman, Planning and Zoning Commission
Mrs. B.J. Minyard, Planning and Zoning
Absent:
Alvin F. Oien Jr., Alderman
Also Present:
Representatives of Trophy Club Homeowners Association, Independent
American management and real estate salespeople, Hunt Industries,
Trophy Club residents and local newspapers.
Mayor White called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read by the Secretary and
approved as read.
Alderman Howard Dudley moved to approve the resolution granting
permission for the residents in Trophy Club to initiate incorporation
proceedings for the incorporation of Trophy Club as a town.
Alderman Jerry Moore seconded the motion.
During the following very lengthy discussion, Mr. Don Canton, an
engineer representing the Trophy Club Homeowners Association
displayed and provided the Board of Aldermen with copies of a map
depicting the area and metes and bounds of the proposed Town of
Trophy Club.
Alderman Howard Dudley then moved to withdraw his motion to approve
the submitted resolution. Alderman Jerry Moore withdrew his second:
Alderman Howard Dudley then moved to table any action on the resolution
granting permission for the Trophy Club residents to initiate in-
corporation proceedings for the incorporation of Trophy Club as a
town until the next regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen to be
held January 7, 1985. Alderman Sherry Dudley seconded. Motion
carried by unanimous vote.
The meeting was then adjourned.

To amend the minutes of the meeting of the Board of Aldermen of
the Town of Westlake, Texas held on December 3, 1984:
During discussion the issue of an independent school district for
the Westlake area was introduced and several people from Trophy
Club expressed interest in studying this issue, therefore motion
and second were withdrawn to allow time to study it.
