TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake,
Texas was held at 7:00 p.m., October 1, 1984 at the Dudley Ranch
in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The following were present:
Dale L. White, Mayor
Jerry N. Moore, Alderman
Howard Dudley, Alderman
Sherry A. Dudley, Alderman
Alvin F. Oien, Jr. , Alderman
Gerry White, Secretary
Absent:
Kelly P. Bradley, Alderman
Mayor White called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read by the Secretary and
approved as read.
Discussion regarding IBM's request to rezone a portion of newly
acquired land took place. The Board studied the map sent with
the request. Motion was made by Alderman Alvin F. Oien, seconded
by Mayor Pro Tem Jerry Moore to conatct representatives of IBM
and suggest that they consider incorporating into the Town of
Westlake that IBM property that is not in any other incorporated
area, with special emphasis on that portion of their property
within the boundaries of Westlake. Motion was voted on and
carried by unanimous vote.
There being no further business to come before the Board the
meeting was adjourned.
