TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
The Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas held a
Regular Meeting at 7:00 p.m., April 4, 1983 at the Dudley Ranch
in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The following were present:
Dale L. White, Mayor
Howard Dudley, Alderman
Alvin F. Oien Jr., Alderman
Sherry A. Dudley, Alderwoman
Kelly P. Bradley, Alderwoman
Absent:
Jerry N. Moore, Alderman
Also present:
Paul C. Isham, Town Attorney
Gerry White, Secretary
Mayor White called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read by the Secretary and
approved as corrected.
Alderwomen Sherry Dudley moved to pass and approve Ordinance #130,
an ordinance canvassing election returns of an election held on
April 1, 1983, to elect three (3) aldermen. Motion was seconded
by Alderwoman Kelly Bradley. Motion was voted on and was approved
by unanimous vote. Results follow:
For Alderman: Alvin F. Oien Jr. 18 votes
Kelly Pace Bradley 18 votes
Jerry N. Moore 18 votes
The Town Secretary then administered the Oath of Office to Alder-
man Oien and Alderwoman Bradley. Alderman Moore was absent.
Alderwoman Kelly Bradley moved to appoint Jimmy Williams Marshal
for the Town of Westlake. Alderwoman Sherry Dudley seconded.
After discussion, the motion was voted on and carried unanimously.
Alderwoman Kelly Bradley moved to appoint Alderman Alvin F. Oien Jr.
Mayor Pro Tem. Alderman Howard Dudley seconded the motion. Motion
was voted on and carried unanimously.
The meeting was then adjourned.
