TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
The Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas held a regular meeting
at 7:00 p.m. on October 26, 1982 at the Dudley Ranch in the Town of Westlake,
Texas. The following were present:
Dale L. White, Mayor
Howard Dudley, Alderman
Sherry Dudlay, Alderwoman
Kelly P. Bradley, Alderwoman
Alvin F. Oien Jr., Alderman
Paul C. Isham, Town Attorney
Scott Bradley, Chairman, Planning and Zoning Commission
Gerry White, Secretary
Absent: Jerry Moore, Mayor Pro Tem
Mayor White called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read by the Secretary and approved as read.
The Board discussed a request from W. B. Investments to disannex a portion of
the Town.
Alderwoman Sherry Dudley moved to table the request of George Thompson, on
behalf of W. B. Investments, for the Town of Westlake to disannex a portion
of the Town of Westlake on the western boundary near the City of Roanoke,
Texas and lying between a tract of land proposed for development under the
name of "Country Acres Estates" and Roanoke until such time as the City of
Roanoke, Texas requests our consideration of this disannexation. Following
discussion, Alderman Alvin Oien seconded the motion. Motion was voted on
and carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting was
adjourned.
