The Board of Aldermen of the Town of
public hearing and a public meeting
Commission of the Town of Westlake,
1982 at the Dudley Ranch in the Tow

Also in attendence were representatives for International Business
Machines Corporation.
Mayor White called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.
Motion was made, seconded and unanimously approved to waive the
reading of the minutes of the previous meeting until the next meeting.
The Board of Aldermen further discussed the request by Robert Thomas,
Trustee, to rezone an approximate 300 acre tract of land from Low
Density Residential, High Density Residential and Retail to Planned
Office Park District.
Mayor Pro Tem Jerry Moore moved to adopt Ordinance #126, an ordinance
amending the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance #49, as amended, same
being an ordinance regulating and restricting the location and use
of buildings, structures, and land for trade, industry, residence
or other purposes, the height, number of stories and size of buildings
and other structures, the size of yards and other open spaces, off-
street parking and loading, and the density of population, and for
such purposes dividing the municipality into districts of such
number, shape and area as may be deemed best suited to carry out
these regulations and showing such district and the boundaries ther-
of upon "District Maps," providing for interpretation, purpose and
conflict; providing that this ordinance shall be cumulative of all
ordinances; providing a severability clause; providing a penal
clause; and making an effective date. Motion was seconded by Alder -
woman Kelly Bradley, voted on and carried unanimously.
Mayor Pro Tem Jerry Moore moved to adopt Ordinance #127, an ordinance
granting a petition for the inclusion of certain land in Denton
County Municipal Utility District #1. Alderwoman Kelly Bradley
seconded the motion which was voted on and carried unanimously.

Motion was made by Alderwoman Sherry Dudley and seconded by Alderman
Alvin Oien to authorize Mayor White and Commissioner Bradley to sign a
letter of agreement presented by Mr. Robert Thomas regarding the
rezoning of 292.3765 acres of land. Motion was voted on and carried
unanimously. A copy of the letter is attatched to these minutes
and made a part thereof.
The Board of Aldermen set August 11, 1982 as the date of their next
meeting befor adjourning.
