TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
An Emergency meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas
was held on September 22, 1981 at 7:30 p.m., at the Dudley Ranch in the Town
of Westlake, Texas. The following were present:
Dale L. White, Mayor
Jerry N. Moore, Alderman
Sherry A. Dudley, Alderman
Kelly Bradley, Alderman
Absent:
Howard Dudley, Mayor .Pro Tem
Alvin F. Oien Jr., Alderman
Mayor White called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
Mr. Leslie Boyd, an engineer from Carter and Burgess, Inc., presented the
final plat of the Summit, located in Trophy Club, to the Board and requested
approval of same. The final plat meets the requirements of Ordinance No. 80,
governing subdivision of land within the Trophy Club and within the Town's
extraterritorial jurisdiction. After discussion, Alderman Jerry Moore moved
to approve the final plat of the Summit at Trophy Club, as presented. Motion
was seconded/and carried by unanimous vote. (Motion was seconded by Ald. Kelly Bradley)
There was discussion by the Board on the second adjenda item regarding a request
from Mrs. Ella Gunnels for a variance to the Town's Ordinance. Mrs. Gunnels did
not attend the meeting. The Council discussed this matter at length after
which the Council instructed Mr. Scott Bradley, Planning and Zoning Commissioner,
to meet with Mrs. Gunnels, investigate the matter and to formulate a recommendation
to present to the Board of Aldermen for consideration.
There being no further business to come before the Council the meeting was
adjourned.
