TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
The Town Council of the Town of Westlake, Texas met in regular
session at 7:00 p.m., on May 14, 1979 at the Dudley Ranch in the
Town of Westlake. The following were present.
Dale L. White, Mayor
Howard Dudley, Mayor Pro Tem
Jerry N. Moore, Alderman
Sherry A. Dudley, Councilwoman
Alvin F. Oien Jr., Alderman
Kelly P. Bradley, Councilwoman
Also present:
Paul C. Isham, Town Attorney
William Foster, Chairman, Planning and Zoning Commission
Scott Bradley, Planning and Zoning Commission
Carol Oien, Acting Secretary
Absent:
Gerry White, Secretary
Mayor White called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
There was discussion regarding the first adjenda item, the intent
of Lone Star Gas Company to raise their rates. Alderman Howard
Dudley moved to suspend action on this matter for 120 days. Motion
was seconded by Alderman Jerry Moore, voted on and carried unanimously.

Mr. Gary Sheffield, Project Diector for Trophy Club Estates was
present. Trophy Club had filed a petetion with the Town of Westlake
requesting passage of an ordinance regarding Municipal Utility
Dittrict #2. A general discussion followed in which Mr. Sheffield
brought the Council and those present up to date on happenings at
Trophy Club. After this discussion Alderman Jerry Moore made a
motion to pass ord'i'nance #112, an Ordinance granting a petition for
the inclusion of certain land in Denton County Municipal Utility
District #2, of Denton County, Texas. Mayor Pro Tem Dudley seconded
the motion. Alderman Moore, Mayor Pro Tem Dudley, Councilwoman
Dudley, and Councilwoman Bradley voted for the motion. Alderman Oien
voted against the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Council the
metting was adjourned.
