HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-25-76 TC MinMEETING OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake was held on February 25, 1976, at the Dudley Ranch in Westlake with the following present: Howard Dudley, Mayor Dale White, Mayor Pro Tem B. H. Campbell, Alderman 0. R. Carpenter, Alderman Arvel Tate Sr., Alderman Also present: William Foster, Zoning Commission Chairman Ray Bowden, Zoning Commission Member Paul C. Isham, Town Attorney Absent: Alvin F. Oien Jr., Alderman Mayor Dudley called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Minutes of the previous meeting were read by the Secretary and approved as read. Trophy Club representatives, Mr. Bill Williamson, Mr. Bill Sweitzer and Mr. William Hudson, presented the revised plat for Section 3, the plats for Section 4 and Section 5 to the Board of Aldermen for their approval. After discussion , Alderman Carpenter moved to approve the revised plat for Section 3, and plats for Section 4 and Section 5 fo the Trophy Club as filed; Motion was seconded by Alderman Tate, voted on and carried unanimously. Mayor Pro Tem White moved to approve the preliminary plat for the Oak Hill Section Garden Homes of the Trophy Club Estates and to author- ize the Mayor to sign the final plan unless the original, as presented, contains substancial changes; motion was seconded by Alderman Carpenter, voted on and carried unanimously. The second adjenda item, consideration of an ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance to permit an agricultural classification in the Town was tabled for further study. Alderman Carpenter moved to adopt Ordinance #969 an ordinance calling and ordering an election to be held on the 3rd day of April, 1976, for the purpose of electing a mayor, two aldermen and one town marshall; establishing the hours and place for the election; providing for the posting in three public places in the Town of Westlake as notice of said election; directing the Town Secretary to make up the official ballots; Causing the same t providing for the ing the results of a date; to appoint Louvernia Foster Campbell, voted on Meeting adjourned.
