Town of Westlake, Texas
A meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas
was held at 7:30 p.m. on August 27, 1975 at the Dudley Ranch in
Westlake with the following present:
Howard Dudley, Mayor
Dale L. White, Mayor Pro Tem
B. H. Campbell, Alderman
0. R. Carpenter, Alderman
A. F. Oien Jr., Alderman
Arvel Tate Sr., Alderman
Absent:
Paul C. Isham, Town Attorney
Gerry White, Secretary
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor.
Alderman Campbell moved to waive the reading of the minutes of the
meeting held June 5, 1975: seconded by Mayor Fro Tem White. Motion
carried unanimously.
The only item on the adjenda was Lone Star Gas Company's request
for a rate increase. Mr. V. R. Henderson, a Lone Star Gas Company
representative was present to answer questions and discuss the
matter with the Council. After a lengthy discussion Alderman
Campbell moved to approve Lone Star Gas Company's application for
a proposed rate increase: seconded by Mayor Pro Tem White. Alderman
Campbell voted for; Alderman Oien, Alderman Tate and Alderman White
voted against; Alderman Carpenter abstained.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
