TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
The Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas met in
regular session at the Bilbo Ranch in Westlake, on December 10, 1973
with the following members present:
D. L. White, Mayor Pro Tem
B. H. Campbell, Alderman
0. R. Carpenter, Alderman
A. F. Oien Jr. , Alderman
Absent:
Howard Dudley, Mayor
A. L. Odom, Alderman
Also present:
Paul C. Isham, Town Attorney
William Foster, Zoning Commission Chairman
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor Pro Tem at 7:45 p.m.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read by the secretary and
approved as read.
On a motion duly made and seconded, Ordinance # 69 amending
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance # 49, was unanimously passed and
approved by the Board of Aldermen.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
The Mayor Pro Tem re -opened the meeting because a matter that was
to come before the Board of Aldermen for discussion had inadvertently
been omitted.
A letter from the Haltom Richland Area Chamber of Commerce was read
requesting that the Town of Westlake pass a resolution regarding
Highway User Taxes. Discussion followed after which the Board decided
to take no action on this matter at this time.
The Mayor Pro Tem adjourned the meeting.
