Grandparents Day
Started in 2007-08 school year, this is an
annual friend-raising event, giving
grandparents the opportunity to see the
campus, enjoy student performances, and
visit their students’ classrooms.
For 2011-12, looking to have distinct events
for PYP (performances, classroom visits),

1.Defining Key Initiatives - funding
prioritization
2. Effective Communication - Between
Administration, BOT & FB
4 Key Strategies
1.Focused team effort by DD, Admin. and
FB to mine external funding
opportunities (community and corporate)
2.Greater involvement in
solicitation/development of new WA families
3.Expand FB with individuals matched to our
needs, i.e. Corporate affiliations, investment
expertise
4.Increase communication with BOT and
Administration
Let both sides seek to invoke the
wonders of science instead of its terrors.
Together let us explore the stars,
conquer the deserts, eradicate disease,
tap the ocean depths, and encourage the
arts and commerce.
